Hello and welcome! My name is Emma and I've been a bookseller for over a decade. I also write fantasy under the name E. M. Epps. This blog features my Two-Paragraph Book Reviews. One paragraph from me. One from the book. Here's why I keep it short.

Review: “On the Run” by Susan Amanda Kelly

Thumbs up for On the Run by Susan Amanda Kelly. Contemporary romantic comedy.

A strong silent type (Mike) gets pulled into rescuing Minnie, a(n almost-super)model who is a real delight. Did I actually just read a motorcycle club romance? Maybe? But it was a comedy so I don’t think it counts. Thank you Dorkas for insisting that I read this; you were right. It was very funny.

“Snake Coolidge’s daughter. I can see why you’re in charge of this think tank.” She picked up his beer and took a deep drink. She set the glass down and wiped her mouth. “Mostly, I don’t allow myself to eat or drink carbs, but I figure this is a special occasion. New friends and all.” She included the entire vermin-ridden club in an expansive sweeping gesture.

I, personally, am also an affiliate of the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and will likewise make a commission if you click through those links and make a purchase. Having to use Amazon doesn’t fill me with joy, but they’re the only good affiliate program for used books available right now. So…that’s the way it is.
